On March 14, 2023 the political consultations were held between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway via videoconference.

The Kyrgyz side was represented at the level of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Moldogaziev, and the Norwegian side - by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway Eivind Vad Petersson.

The parties discussed topical issues of the Kyrgyz-Norwegian cooperation in certain areas of mutual interest, including the organization of visits.

During the foreign policy consultations, issues of cooperation in the field of climate change were also discussed. Special attention was paid to issues in the consular sphere, also the parties noted the importance of strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation.

In addition to that, the parties exchanged views on the issues of international agenda.
