During the first working visit of the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany, Omurbek Tekebaev, to the federal state of Bavaria, on October 18, 2022, a meeting was held in Munich with the President of the Landtag (parliament) of Bavaria, Ms. Ilse Aigner.

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Omurbek Tekebaev informed about the democratic development of the Kyrgyz Republic, priority sectors of the national economy and major investment projects, the geographical and geopolitical position of the Central Asia region, measures to promote regional cooperation, as well as the negative consequences of the international economic crisis on our country.

During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on the possibilities and main directions for strengthening and expanding cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the federal state of Bavaria in the inter-parliamentary, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as on vocational training and employment of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in the federal state of Bavaria.

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Omurbek Tekebaev invited the President of the Landtag of Bavaria, Ms. Ilse Aigner, to pay a visit to our country. The Honorary Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Bavaria and Thuringia, Mr. Reinhold Krämmel, also took part in this meeting.
