On December 9, 2021, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Nuran Niyazaliev, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kyrgyz Republic, Dr. Gabriela Guellil.

Nuran Niyazaliev congratulated the German Ambassador on the formation of the new Federal Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. In turn, Ambassador Mrs. Gabriela Guellil informed about the priorities for the work of the new composition of the Federal Government, noting that Mrs. Annelina Baerbock has been appointed to the post of Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany.

The parties noted that the online consultations between the foreign ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Germany, held on November 26, 2021, made it possible to discuss topical issues on the bilateral agenda and determine further areas of cooperation. In particular, the diplomats considered some aspects of the Kyrgyz-German interaction in the context of the held inter-ministerial consultations. Marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Germany, the parties discussed the holding of bilateral events during 2022, including high-level visits.

Nuran Niyazaliev positively noted the decision of the Federal Government of the Federal Republic of Germany to allocate funding for the implementation of projects in Kyrgyzstan.
