The Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Japan Mirlan Arstanbaev met with the Parliamentary Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Taro Honda

On January 26, 2022, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan Mirlan Arstanbaev met with the Parliamentary Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Taro Honda.

During the meeting, Taro Honda congratulated the Kyrgyz side and conveyed congratulatory messages on behalf of the Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Yoshimasa Hayashi addressed to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev.

Mirlan Arstanbaev, in turn, congratulated the Japanese side and conveyed congratulatory messages on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, Toraga (Speaker) of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Talant Mamytov, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev addressed to their counterparts.

During the conversation, the parties also exchanged views on deepening bilateral cooperation, and discussed the details of organization and holding of joint events on the occasion of the anniversary date.

For reference: Diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and Japan were established on January 26, 1992. In January 2003, the Embassy of Japan was opened in Bishkek, and in April 2004, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Japan was established in Tokyo.
