The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Erlan Abdyldaev met with the new coordinator of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany for intersocial cooperation with Russia, the countries of Central Asia and the Eastern Partnership with J.Saathoff

On September 30, 2020, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Erlan Abdyldaev met with the new coordinator of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany for intersocial cooperation with Russia, the countries of Central Asia and the Eastern Partnership with J.Saathoff, who recently replaced D.Wiese.

During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on the development of Kyrgyz-German relations in the political, inter-parliamentary, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Special attention was paid to the issues of cooperation in the energy sector and the promotion of the "green" economy.

Ambassador E.Abdyldaev noted that Germany is one of the key partners in Europe for our country and the development of Kyrgyz-German relations is important for strengthening interaction between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union as a whole, and also informed about the current socio-economic situation in Kyrgyzstan in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic and preparations for the next elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador E.Abdyldaev and Coordinator J.Saathoff agreed to maintain regular contacts to actively promote Kyrgyz-German cooperation.
