On April 7, 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev met with Advisor to the French President Isabelle Dumont.

During the meeting, parties exchanged views on relevant issues of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and France. In order to further intensify cooperation, Minister Kulubaev noted the importance of maintaining active political contacts, increasing the volume of mutual trade, promoting joint projects in various areas of mutual interest.

Minister Kulubaev emphasized the prospects of the country's hydropower potential and outlined the importance of attracting French investors and specialists to projects in this area. Mutual interest was expressed in continuing cooperation on projects with «Electricité de France».

The parties also discussed relevant issues of the regional and international agenda.
