On September 29, 2019, in Guangzhou hosted official, celebratory events dedicated to the establishment of the Kyrgyz Students' Association in Guangdong Province.

In the speeches of representatives of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Guangzhou, entrepreneurs of Kyrgyzstan, working in the region, students of the universities in Guangzhou and other meeting participant’s speeches noted the relevance of the creation of this format of mutual support, communication of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic. The concert program was presented by performances by the students themselves.

In accordance with the concept, the Association, created with the support of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Guangzhou, is a public, non-profit organization that brings together Kyrgyz students studying in Guangzhou.

The goals of the Association are to bring together compatriots in Guangdong Province, to provide mutual assistance in difficult situations, to support new students. The Association plans to hold joint events such as sport events, meetings and celebration of national holidays.

The idea of creating a Student association has met with a positive response among Kyrgyz citizens who are temporarily or permanently leaving in Guangzhou. The Consulate General and entrepreneurs of Kyrgyzstan have expressed their readiness to provide the necessary assistance and support in the Activities of the Association.
