On October 17, 2023, the Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Novosibirsk A.Aidarbekov took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the founding of the State, Public, Scientific and Technical Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Novosibirsk (SPSTL SB RAS).

On the eve of the library's anniversary, on October 13, 2023, with the assistance of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Novosibirsk, a permanent literary stand of the Kyrgyz Republic was inaugurated at the State Scientific Research Institute of the SB RAS, which presents literary publications in Kyrgyz and Russian dedicated to Kyrgyz culture, literature and history. The central exposition of the stand was the three-volume Kyrgyz epic "Manas", as well as the works of the outstanding Kyrgyz writer Ch.Aitmatova. It should be noted that this stand will work at the State Scientific Research Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences on a permanent basis.

In addition, the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Novosibirsk, in honor of the 32nd anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, organized a photo exhibition dedicated to the culture, traditions and natural attractions of the Kyrgyz Republic in the lobby of the fourth floor of the (SPSTL SB RAS), which will operate until the end of 2023.

In his welcoming speech, Consul General A.Aidarbekov noted the importance of intensifying scientific cooperation between libraries, scientific and educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan and the Novosibirsk region in order to strengthen the bonds of friendship and brotherhood and expand cultural and humanitarian cooperation. It was noted that the opening of the stand is aimed at familiarizing Siberian readers with the cultural heritage and works of Kyrgyz writers and is the first step in a series of joint events of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Novosibirsk with the State Scientific Research Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In the future, it is planned to create a permanent Kyrgyz corner in the State Scientific Research Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, where literature in the languages of both countries will be presented, and it will become a center for cultural, scientific and educational events.
