On April 13, 2023, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Austria Mr. Tolendy Makeyev together with the heads and employees of the diplomatic missions of the CIS member states, took part in the solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the memorials of Soviet soldiers in honor of the 78th anniversary of the liberation of Vienna.

The traditional event was held at the monuments to fallen Soviet soldiers at the Central Cemetery and Schwarzenbergplatz Square in the Austrian capital.
