On March 9, 2022 on the initiative of the Embassy, ​​an online meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Azerbaijan K. Osmonaliev with the Head of the Department of Civil Aviation and Water Transport of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic A. Matmuratov and the Deputy General Director of the Air Manas airline D. Arynov.

         The key topics of the meeting were the discussion of the resumption of direct or transit flights between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the Kyrgyz Republic and Georgia route. The parties drew attention to the fact that the main factors in the development of economic, cultural and humanitarian relations between countries is the availability of convenient logistics solutions.

         At the end of the conversation, the meeting participants agreed to develop a joint "road map" for the study of this issue.
