On September 16, 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Kuwait Azamat Karagulov met with Assistant Foreign Minister for Development and International Cooperation of the State of Kuwait, Mr. Hamad Sulaiman Al-Mаshan.

During the meeting, A. Karagulov expressed gratitude for the active work of Kuwaiti funds in improving the situation of the most vulnerable segments of the population and the implementation of projects aimed to strengthening the country's social infrastructure: the construction of social townships, hospitals, Local medical centers and educational institutions.

Along with this, an exchange of views took place on increasing the efficiency of charitable foundations and the importance of coordinating their work with state programs and social needs of the country.

In his turn, Ambassador H. Al-Mаshan said that Kuwaiti charitable foundations successfully operates in Kyrgyzstan. Noted that his Department is responsible for external assistance and is closely coordinating Kuwaiti charitable organizations.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the achieved level of humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, agreeing with the views on the need for joint work to increase cooperation in the future.

Ambassador A. Karagulov congratulated the interlocutor on assuming his new position and wished him further success, and also confirmed his readiness for close cooperation.
