Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Ulanbek Totuiaev met with Executive Director of the Center for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) of Pakistan Lt.Col.Khalid Taimur Akram (Retd) and Director of the Center for Studies of Central Asia, Russia and China at the University of Peshawar, Professor Dr.Shabir Ahmad Khan.

During the conversation, the sides discussed the issues of strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan in the field of higher education, organizing student exchanges, joint research and publications.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on the visit of Ambassador H.E. Ulanbek Totuiaev to Peshawar University in order to participate in a conference on the topic: «Pakistan – Eurasia Heartland Connectivity: towards Academic and Socio-Economic Cooperation» in September of this year, as well as on organizing a photo exhibition in several higher educational institutions of Pakistan in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic.
