In order to ensure public health and take measures on preventing the further spread of coronavirus disease (COVID - 19) in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic decided to introduce from 00:01 on March 19, 2020 a temporary restriction at all checkpoints at the state border of the Kyrgyz Republic on the entry into the Kyrgyz Republic of citizens of foreign states and stateless persons, until the official cancellation of this decision of the Government, with the exception of:

- members of delegations of foreign states and international organizations going to the Kyrgyz Republic at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic;

- accredited or appointed employees of diplomatic missions and consular offices of foreign states in the Kyrgyz Republic, accredited or appointed employees of international organizations and their missions located in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as family members of these persons, if they are informing in advance through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic about their arrival;

- drivers carrying out international cargo transportation, crews of aircraft, train and locomotive crews of the international air and rail service;

- citizens of foreign states or stateless persons who are members of families of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic (if there is documentary evidence of close family ties - spouse, parents, children, grandparents) or who have a permanent residence permit of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The departure of citizens of foreign states and stateless persons from the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic is carried out in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Ministry has suspended the issuance of entry visas for all categories of foreign citizens and stateless persons planning to visit the Kyrgyz Republic.

We inform you that paragraph 1 of the Order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated February 28, 2020 No. 61-r is recognized as invalid.
