On March 13, 2020, in Islamabad, Ambassador E. Beishembiev met with the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Health, Minister Dr. Zafar Mirza.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation in the world and the region associated with the rapid spread of the Covid-19, and also exchanged views on measures taken in Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan to combat the disease.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen further cooperation in the health sector.
