On June 20, 2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev met with Mr. Shahid Qureshi, the Rector of the “GIFT” University (Gujranwala, Islamic Republic of Pakistan).

During the conversation, the parties discussed topical issues on the agenda of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, especially in the educational direction. In particular, parties agreed on the organization of joint work in terms of the exchange of experience in the field of education, the implementation of exchange programs for students and teaching staff, as well as the organization of joint conferences and seminars.

Ambassador U.Totuiaev welcomed the interest of representatives of the education sector of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in establishing cooperation, noting that interaction in this direction is one of the most key factors in the development of strong and long-term ties between states.    

The parties agreed to conduct joint work aimed at strengthening of the cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.
