On October 14, 2021, in the Sokuluk region of the Kyrgyz Republic, the opening ceremony of a private small hydroelectric power station was held with the participation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.

During the event, the head of state informed that Kyrgyzstan has created all the necessary conditions for investment in such projects, and urged foreign investors to invest in the construction of hydroelectric power plants in the Kyrgyz Republic. He noted that the implementation of such initiatives will be mutually beneficial for both investors and the country's energy sector.

In this regard, the Embassy calls on all interested Pakistani companies to consider investing in the construction of small hydropower plants in Kyrgyzstan and expresses its readiness to provide maximum assistance for the successful implementation of possible future projects.
