The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in collaboration with Pakistan Snow Leopard Foundation in the framework of the ecological diplomacy organized celebration of World Wild Day in Islamabad National University of computer and emerging sciences under the theme “Sustaining all life on Earth”.

Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Climate Change in the rank of Minister Mr. Malik Amin Aslam, representatives of the diplomatic corps, international organizations and NGOs in Islamabad, government bodies and Mass Media of Pakistan, participated in the celebration.

The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan E.Beishembiev in his address noted the adoption in 2019 in Kyrgyzstan of the law on ratification of Paris agreement on climate change, as well as contribution of the country to supply of ecologically clean hydropower to the region, in the framework of the CASA-1000 project on export of electricity from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
