On February 26, 2021, Within the framework of working visit to Lahore, Punjab province of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Erik Beishembiev had a meeting with the leadership of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA).

The sides discussed the development of Kyrgyz-Pakistani cooperation in the textile industry. The Pakistani side expressed interest in exporting raw cotton from Kyrgyzstan.

The parties discussed the development of transport and logistics ties between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.

During the meeting both sides confirmed their readiness to promote the establishment and expansion of direct business contacts between the business circles of the two countries.
