On July 5, 2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the Minister of Federal Education and Professional Training of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Rana Tanveer Hussain.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of promising areas of Kyrgyz-Pakistani cooperation in the field of education, as well as topical issues in this field. In particular, parties agreed to promote joint work regarding the exchange of experience in terms of educational programs, teaching methods, the implementation of student and faculty exchange programs, as well as the organization of joint conferences and seminars.

Ambassador U.Totuiaev indicated that effective cooperation in the field of education is one of the key factors in the development of bilateral cooperation, and in this regard, he expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz side in active joint work in this direction. Also requested the Pakistani side to assist in the recognition of medical universities of the Kyrgyz Republic by the Pakistan Medical Commission.

In his turn, R.T.Hussain informed about the interest of the Pakistani side in organizing cooperation between the educational cooperation of the two countries in terms of the exchange of experience, especially in technical areas.

The parties agreed to continue joint work aimed at deepening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan in the field of education.
