On  April 1, 2024, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev with the Chairman of the Intellectual property organization of Pakistan Mr. Farukh Amil.

The parties discussed on directions for developing cooperation in the field of intellectual property and innovation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.

Ambassador H.E. Mr. U.A.Totuiaev noted the importance of exchanging experience and strengthening cooperation between departments in the field of protection and examination of intellectual property.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the development of a draft Memorandum on cooperation in the field of intellectual property and innovation between the State Agency for Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan.
