Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Pakistan organized a photo exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs and 30 years of state status of Kyrgyz language in Lahore

         Meeting of Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan E.Beishembiev with students and management of one of the leading and oldest higher educational institutions of Pakistan – Punjab University, was held on December 9, 2019 in Lahore.

         The issues of signing MoUs with higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan, organizing of faculty members and students’ exchanges and joint research, have been discussed during meeting with Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar and faculty deans.

Ambassador E.Beishembiev in his speech before students and management of Punjab University informed about history and foreign policy of Kyrgyzstan, historical links between CA and Pakistan, about current bilateral Kyrgyz-Pakistani relations, economic, investment and tourist opportunities of Kyrgyzstan.

         Embassy of Kyrgyzstan also organized a photo exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs and 30 years of state status of Kyrgyz language and demonstration of videos about Kyrgyzstan in Punjab University.

         Same day, a meeting was held of Ambassador E.Beishembiev with Lahore Mayor M.A.B.Lodhi, during which the sides discussed opportunities of cooperation and establishing sister relations between Lahore and Osh cities.

         The day program completed with round table on the topic “Tourist, trade, investment, cultural and educational opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic” with participation of businessmen, tourism operators and Mass Media representatives of Lahore city.

  On December 10 this year, Ambassador E.Beishembiev have met with  President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Irfan Iqbal Sheikh and its members. In his speech, he informed about trade-economic, investment, tourist, transit potential of Kyrgyzstan, suggested to open Pakistani enterprises in Kyrgyzstan with the aim of exporting goods to Central Asian, Eurasian Economic Union and European Union markets, invited to visit KR as tourists and for studying of business opportunities.
