On March 4, 2020, at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Islamabad, Ambassador Erik Beishembiev met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Mr.Sardar Tarik Khan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in various fields, noted the potential for further intensification of trade and economic cooperation, as well as the need to increase mutual trade between Pakistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

The sides also discussed the issues of holding the 4th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Pakistani intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation, scheduled for the 2nd quarter of 2020, as well as further measures to enhance trade, economic and other areas of cooperation.

Ambassador E. Beishembiev congratulated Mr. Sardar Tarik Khan on his appointment, wishing him further success in his responsible work.

In turn, the Pakistani side expressed its readiness to build up bilateral cooperation in all areas.
