Ambassador Baktybek Amanbaev discussed increasing the number of Kyrgyz students participating in the FLEX program and advanced English language teaching in the regions

On August 5, 2021 Mr.Amanbaev Baktybek, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the USA, met with Mr.Curtis, Senior Vice President, Strategic Development of the American Councils for International Education.

During the meeting the American side provided detailed information about the projects implemented by the American Councils for International Education in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Ambassador Amanbaev Baktybek suggested increasing the number of Kyrgyz school students participating in the FLEX program and projects for advanced English language training for students in rural schools. Amanbaev Baktybek also emphasized that the most important issue for Kyrgyzstan today is to achieve economic development and the country highly needs specialists in agriculture, energy, tourism, mining and information technology. He added that it would be good to support specialists in these fields in the future.
