On June 24, 2019, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the USA Dr.Bolot Otunbaev received two groups of students from Kyrgyzstan who took part in the Genius Olympiad, which was held in Oswego.

Ambassador Dr.Bolot Otunbaev congratulated the winners of the Olympiad with high results due to tireless work and exceptional performance.

Kyrgyz Olympiad participants noted that the Genius Olympiad promotes a global understanding of environmental issues and sustainability through basic science, art, creative writing, engineering, design and business development. It provides challenges and opportunities for secondary school students, to instill in them the skills and knowledge necessary to be citizens, leaders, scientists, artists, writers, engineers and politicians who will promote environmental sustainability throughout their lives.

Genius Olympiad focuses on the main aspects of global environmental problems in order to identify and solve environmental problems by students, as well as contribute to the protection and improvement of the environment.

 At the end of the meeting with Ambassador Dr. Bolot Otunbaev wished to the participants of the Genius Olympiad further achievements in their studies.
