On 6-7 May 2019 the Ambassadors of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan visited city of Graz upon authorities’ invitation of the Austria’s Federal State of Steiermark. The Ambassadors had meetings with the city and regional municipality’s authorities, Austrian Economic Chamber representatives, and other state and public organizations of Steiermark.

During those meetings Ambassador Bakyt Dzhusupov presented detailed information about Kyrgyzstan, its touristic potential and investment opportunities, and exchanged opinions about perspectives of cooperation strengthening between Kyrgyzstan and Austria, Central Asia and Austria with focus on implementation of the specific projects in agriculture and food processing, hydropower energy, tourism, digital technologies and on establishment of direct contacts between the regions of Kyrgyzstan and Austria.

The Ambassadors of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan also visited Austrian industries, including meat processing factory “Tann” that supplies meat produce to the grocery retail network “SPAR” in Austria, Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia, as well as a construction site of the hydropower plant with capacity of 17,7 MegaWatt.
