On March 4, at the initiative of the Embassy, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Italy Taalai Bazarbaev and the Plenipotentiary Minister, Diplomatic Advisor to the Minister of Economy and Finance of Italy Stefano Beltrame.
During the meeting, Ambassador T. Bazarbayev discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the banking and financial sector, including the establishment of direct interaction between the banks of Kyrgyzstan and Italy.
At the same time, the attention of the Italian side was drawn to the need to intensify cooperation in the tax sphere. 
S. Beltrame expressed interest in developing interaction with the Kyrgyz side and noted his readiness to assist in promoting bilateral cooperation of mutual interest.
