On July 15, 2019, in Doha, by the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, Avazbek Atakhanov, Charge d'Affaires of the Kyrgyz Republic in the State of Qatar met with Mr. Rashid Abdulla Al-Dehaimi, Assistant Director of Asian Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.

During the meeting, Avazbek Atakhanov handed over to Rashid Abdulla Al-Dehaimi a copy of the letter from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S. Jeenbekov, addressed to the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

The parties discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during the Second Kyrgyz-Qatar Inter-MFA political consultations held on January 31, 2019, in Doha, including the dates of the Second Meeting of the Joint Kyrgyz-Qatar Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation.
