On August 31, 2021, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kuwait organized a solemn event with the participation of the Kyrgyz diaspora in the State of Kuwait on the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the country's independence.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Kuwait, Azamat Karagulov, made a welcoming speech to the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, in which he noted the priority areas on the path of the country, identified by the new leadership of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the need to further strengthen interaction with citizens abroad.

The participants of the event were presented with a brief excursion on the development of Kyrgyz-Kuwaiti relations over the years of independence and their current state.

Ambassador A. Karagulov informed citizens about the holding of elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on November 28, 2021 and urged them to actively use their electoral right.

During the meeting, Ambassador A. Karagulov also answered questions of concern to citizens. In turn, the compatriots expressed gratitude to the Embassy for the efforts made to launch direct flights on the Kuwait-Bishkek-Kuwait route, which began operating on June 23, 2021.
