September 18-19 this year The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the regular meeting of the Council for Cultural Cooperation of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Within the framework of the meeting, a draft of the Main events of the CIS countries' cooperation in the field of culture for 2021–2025 was discussed, which includes international and national actions in various areas of interaction, in particular the preservation and use of historical and cultural heritage monuments, museum and library work, and theater and concert activities , art, book publishing and information activities, music and cinema.

The members of the Council also discussed issues of participation in events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Victory Territory project of the Central State Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 Federal State Budgetary Institution of Culture (Victory Museum) and the proposal by the Uzbek side on the creation of the Virtual Museum of Cultural Heritage of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

In addition, members of the Council considered issues related to the holding of the International Exhibition “ART EXPO”, the popularization of cultural heritage in the information space (using the example of the “Culture of the Russian Federation” portal).

As a result of the XXXIV meeting of the Council for Cultural Cooperation of the CIS member states, the final protocol was adopted.
