On 5^th of September, 2020, in the town of Kalofer, Plovdiv region, the annual event "Kaloferovs Khaiduts" was held, organized by the Association "Kaloferovs Khaiduts" aimed at popularizing the ancient Bulgarian culture, folklore art, traditions and everyday life.

This event this year was attended by citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic permanently residing in Bulgaria, namely the Angelov family, who demonstrated Kyrgyz folk games on horses: Kyz kuumai, Ulak Tartysh and national clothes of the Kyrgyz to the guests of the event.

The participation of our citizens in this event was timed to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic and the popularization of Kyrgyz culture among the citizens of Bulgaria.

The Embassy together with citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic temporarily and permanently residing in Bulgaria, intends to continue to take part in various cultural events in order to popularize Kyrgyz culture in Bulgaria and develop Kyrgyz-Bulgarian relations.
