On April 20, 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Zhusupbek Sharipov met with the Director of the Fourth Territorial Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine E. Pikalov.

The parties discussed a number of bilateral Kyrgyz-Ukrainian issues in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and also exchanged views on topical issues of multilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Ukraine, including consular issues.

At the meeting, they also discussed the possibility of holding the next meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Ukrainian Commission on Cooperation, inter-parliamentary meetings and regular inter-ministerial consultations on political issues at the level of Directors of Departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the end of the meeting, the Parties expressed mutual interest in further deepening the existing bilateral friendly relations in all areas.
