According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (hereinafter - the Ministry), a reform is currently underway in the field of medical education. Thus, on March 15, 2019, the Ministry conducted an international monitoring study of the quality of higher medical education, selecting an exam in one of the basic sciences. According to the Ministry, students of the         Odessa National Medical University did not take part in this event, referring to the instructions of the school administration. In addition, according to the Ministry, the university has no legal leadership since 2018.    
Due to the situation described above, the Ministry currently cannot guarantee the provision of quality education to Ukrainian and foreign students at Odessa National Medical University.
