On September 19, 2019, in Budapest, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chingiz Aidarbekov, handed the consular patent to the Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic, Endre Erdos. Since then Endre Erdos assumed the post of the Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in Hungary.

The Minister noted the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the countries in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and also paid special attention and emphasized the priority of protecting the rights and interests of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Hungary.
