On June 30, 2022, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany held a solemn event and a diplomatic reception on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Germany.  It took place in the building of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.

At the beginning of the event Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Omurbek Tekebaev and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia  Matthias Lüttenberg  mentioned in their speeches the fruitful and multifaceted nature of the Kyrgyz-German cooperation over the past years and emphasized the mutual interest and readiness of Kyrgyzstan and Germany to further dynamic development of bilateral relations in all spheres.

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Omurbek Tekebaev emphasized that due to its leading place and role in the European Union and on the world stage Germany is Kyrgyzstan's most important partner in Europe.

Welcoming remarks were also made by the Rector of the Kyrgyz-German Institute of Applied Informatics Aida Tologonova, Vice-President of the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU) Nicole Spundflash and Co-Director of the German side of the Central Asian Institute for Geosciences in the Kyrgyz Republic (CAIAG) Oliver Bens, Associate Professor of the German Language Department  Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Razzakov Zuchra Abdukerimova.

During the event, presentations were made on the long-term active and successful activities of NABU in Kyrgyzstan, CAIAG, the Kyrgyz-German Institute of Applied Informatics and the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute.

The guests of the evening got acquainted with a photo exhibition and a promotional video about Kyrgyzstan. Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhamila Raimbekova and komuz player Umut Muratbekova performed for the audience. After that all participants followed the reception where national dishes and drinks were served.

The event was held in a festive atmosphere with the participation of representatives of the Bundestag, the German Foreign Ministry, various ministries and agencies, political funds of Germany, the diplomatic corps, Honorary Consuls of the Kyrgyz Republic, friends of Kyrgyzstan in Germany, as well as leaders and activists of diaspora organizations of Kyrgyzstanis in various federal states of Germany.
