On January 14, 2023, the opening ceremony of the Cultural Center “Kyrgyz house” was held at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany in Berlin. 

This solemn event was attended by leaders of Kyrgyz diaspora organizations and activists from different cities of Germany. The event was also attended by representatives of the organization of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Poland.

The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev in his speech noted that the Kyrgyz Cultural Center, being created in the capital of Germany - in Berlin, will become a meeting place and events for the Kyrgyz diaspora and will contribute to the acquaintance of the young generation of Kyrgyz born in Germany, with the culture of Kyrgyzstan and the study of the Kyrgyz language. The Ambassador called on compatriots in Germany to continue to be united and united and to make their further contribution to the development of Kyrgyzstan.

Members of the Kyrgyz diaspora organizations who were present at the evening informed about the activities of their organizations and planned events, and also expressed their gratitude for the creation of such a Kyrgyz cultural center.

To date, more than 10 Kyrgyz diaspora organizations have been created in Germany, which provide assistance to Kyrgyzstan by implementing various events and projects in the cultural and humanitarian sphere. At the same time, Kyrgyz diaspora organizations hold various joint cultural, educational, sports events and meetings in honor of holidays in Kyrgyzstan in order to ensure the cohesion of the Kyrgyz people in Germany.

During the evening, Kyrgyz songs, Kyrgyz and German classical works were performed by young Kyrgyz performers in Germany. The guests of the evening were offered Kyrgyz national dishes. The participants of the event were able to communicate with each other in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
