On May 29, 2024, in Rome, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zheenbek Kulubaev, held a meeting with the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Italian Republic, Fabio Cassese.

During the meeting, current topics on the agenda of bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Italy were discussed, in particular, strengthening political dialogue and expanding economic cooperation, as well as exchange of visits at the highest level.

Diplomatic Advisor to the President of Italy Fabio Cassese noted in a positive manner the intensified development of political ties between the countries and expressed the interest of the Italian side in further deepening cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.

In turn, the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zheenbek Kulubaev, outlined the important role of Italy in the European Union and expressed hope for further expansion of interaction between our countries. He also especially emphasized that Kyrgyzstan intends to further develop cooperation with Italy both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of the EU and international organizations.
