Due to the human casualties of the armed conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border of the Kyrgyz Republic, May 1-2, 2021 were declared as national mourning days in the Kyrgyz Republic. In this regard, national flag at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the USA and Canada is flown at half-mast.

A book of condolences was also opened for all diplomatic missions of foreign states and international organizations, accredited in the USA.
