Ambassador Baktybek Amanbaev met with a joint delegation of the US Department of State, the United States Agency for International Development  and the Peace Corps

On September 14, 2021, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States Baktybek Amanbaev met with a joint delegation of the US Department of State, the United States Agency for International Development and the Peace Corps.

The delegation, led by Anjali Kaur, Deputy Assistant Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, provided detailed information on ongoing education projects in Kyrgyzstan by various US agencies.

Ambassador B. Amanbaev proposed to increase the effectiveness of these educational projects in Kyrgyzstan and improve them. The Ambassador also stressed the need to pay special attention to education sphere in order to increase the level of cooperation between the two countries, and and proposed to launch a new project in this area.

The American side supported the project proposed by Ambassador B. Amanbaev and agreed to work together to implement it.
