The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic starts accreditation procedure of foreign media representatives willing to cover the Meeting of the Council of Heads of States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which will be held on June 13-14, 2019 in Bishkek.

Foreign media representatives who wish to take part in covering the meeting should send the following required documents to the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic at press@mfa.gov.kg with a note «Summit2019».

List of required documents:

• A letter of assignment of a media organization supervisor for accreditation of a journalist;

• A completed application form (Application);

• scanned copy of the passport;

• copy of the journalist's ID;

• electronic form of the 3x4 photo;

• filled table (Table).

The whole package of these documents should be sent before May 30, 2019. Applications received after this deadline will not be accepted.

Submitting an application does not automatically mean granting accreditation. Following the consideration of the application, the Ministry makes a decision on the accreditation of journalists or on the refusal of accreditation.

After receiving confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic on accreditation, the journalist is considered to be accredited and is allowed take part in covering the event.
