On December 19, 2023, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States Bakyt Amanbaev met with Anjali Kaur, Deputy Assistant Administrator of the USAID Agency within the US Department of State. The discussion focused on potential areas for future cooperation.

Initially, Anjali Kaur provided an overview of USAID projects undertaken in the Kyrgyz Republic in recent years, outlined upcoming plans, and identified collaborative opportunities with the Kyrgyz Republic's s government. Ambassador Bakyt Amanbaev underscored the pressing need for enhancing the effectiveness of USAID, aligning with the piorities of the Kyrgyz Republic's official authorities. He offered recommendations on strategies to achieve this objective and shared insights into measures and projects initiated at both national and regional levels under the leadership of Head of State Sadyr Zhaparov.

Subsequently, Ambassador Bakyt Amanbaev initiating a project to address air quality in Bishkek, implementing targeted initiatives to enhance English language education for Kyrgyz youth, and supporting the infrastructure development of the Batken region. Specific suggestions were also put forth regarding collaborative projects in the realm of information technology development in Kyrgyzstan

The meeting transpired in a spirit of amicable understanding, with both parties expressing a commitment to enhancing cooperation and working jointly in the future.
