On January 18, 2024, a meeting was held between the management of an American company “COLOURizd” and representatives of the light industry of Kyrgyzstan. The online meeting was organized by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the USA.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the United States and Canada Bakyt Amanbaev emphasized the importance of developing the clothing and light industry as a priority direction of the economy of Kyrgyzstan. He presented details of the activities carried out by the Government to support this industry. Ambassador Amanbaev highlighted the key conditions necessary for the successful development of light industry in Kyrgyzstan, and called on the American side for active cooperation, noting the need of Kyrgyz entrepreneurs for new technological equipment.
Next, the Vice President of COLOURizd, Peter Jones, introduced his company and presented information on the use of the latest technological equipment in light industry. The American side expressed its readiness to assist Kyrgyz companies in promoting their products to foreign markets.
The head of the Tekstiltrans company, Almaz Abdraev, also presented information about the activities of his company.
Representatives of both companies emphasized the importance of such meetings in deepening partnerships and developing technical cooperation.
