On December 8, 2021, in Tashkent, on the sidelines of the Second Ministerial meeting in the "Central Asia - Italy" format, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin.

An exchange of views took place on current issues of Kyrgyz-Tajik relations and prospects for further building up mutually beneficial joint activities were outlined.

The ministers agreed to continue work on the implementation of the agreements reached during the ministerial meeting in Dushanbe on November 21, 2021.
