On March 28, 2019, in Dushanbe, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Z.Rustenbekov took part in the Regional Conference on investing in young people called “Act now - create the future”. The event was organized by the Parliament of Tajikistan, the Committee on Youth and Sport under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Asian Association for Population and Development with the support of the Japan Trust Fund and the United Nations Population Fund.
During the conference, an overview of the situation of social life and activities of young people in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States was presented. From the Kyrgyz side, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic E.Surabaldiyeva and E.Strokova also took part in the conference.
