A Kyrgyz film was recognized as the Best Documentary Film at the Eurasian Film Festival in London.

From 19 to 25 May 2022, a large-scale fourth Film Festival took place in London, combining the Eurasian Film Festival and Romford Film Festival. The festival was dedicated to the development of Eurasian cinema in the English-speaking space.

Among the films of the film festival, the following films from Kyrgyzstan were presented:

- "Sayakbai and the Beatles," a documentary film by Honored Artist and Cultural Figure of Kyrgyzstan Tynay Ibragimov;

- documentary film "Janyrtuu" by the novice film director Victoria Arkhangelskaya;

- debut short film "Steps" by AUCA graduate Janaiym Ashimova.

On May 25, 2022, by the invitation of the President of the Eurasian Film Festival, the Vice-Chairman of Eurasian Creative Guild (London) Marat Ahmedzhanov, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in the UK Ulan Djusupov took part in the awards ceremony, during which the names of the winners and prize-winners of the festival were announced.

The Kyrgyz film "Sayakbai and the Beatles," directed by Tynay Ibragimov was announced as the winner in the Best Documentary Film category.

In addition, according to the results of the audience vote the nomination "Audience Choice Award" was given to the film "Janyrtuu" by the novice film director from Kyrgyzstan Victoria Arkhangelskaya.

More than 50 films in the categories of documentary, feature and short films, as well as animation films were shown at the festival.

Among the films of the Eurasian Film Festival were the works from such countries as Great Britain, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Russia, USA, Israel, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkey.
