On February 12, 2024, the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Chicago conducted a meeting with representatives of the U.S. Border Patrol, Texas. The meeting aimed to foster deeper collaboration, exchange information, and discuss issues related to migration and consular matters.

During the meeting, representatives from the Consulate General exchanged information about the current situation and challenges faced by Kyrgyz citizens in the context of migration. They also discussed matters concerning the protection of rights and legitimate interests of compatriots entering the United States through Mexico.
