On February 15, 2024, the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Chicago held a meeting with representatives of the U.S. Border Patrol, California. The purpose of this meeting was to establish and further strengthen cooperation, exchange information, and discuss migration-related issues.

During the meeting, representatives of the Consulate General discussed the current situation and challenges faced by citizens of Kyrgyzstan in the context of migration. Issues regarding the protection of rights and legitimate interests of compatriots entering the United States through Mexico were also addressed.

Consul General B. Borbiev expressed gratitude to the representatives of the U.S. Border Patrol, California, for providing valuable information and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation.
