On June 1, 2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ulanbek Totuiaev took part in a solemn event organized by the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the occasion of the upcoming celebration of World Environment Day.

This event was attended by the representatives of state bodies and business circles of the host country, as well as heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Pakistan. The Minister of Planning, Development and Reforms of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan A. Iqbal was invited as a guest of honor.

During the conversation, the participants of the event discussed topical issues related to interaction in the preservation of the environment and biological diversity on the planet. The parties noted that each state should make all necessary efforts to protect the environment and, in this regard, agreed to take an active part in various kinds of joint projects aimed at ensuring environmental safety.

At the same time, during the event, students from various universities of the Pakistan presented projects demonstrating perspective technologies and methods in the field of environmental protection.
