Hundred Kyrgyz citizens repatriated from Pakistan

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, air travel restrictions, border closures and, in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.Jeenbekov, in close cooperation with the Republican headquarters of the Kyrgyz Republic to combat new coronavirus infection, since March 2019, the Consular Section of the Embassy has begun active work to support Kyrgyz citizens in Pakistan and to assist them in returning to the homeland.

Today, June 17, with the assistance of Pakistan international airlines (PIA), the first repatriation flight was organized for 100 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic on the route Islamabad – Bishkek. Among the departed citizens are women with young children, elderly people, students, businessmen and others

The organization of the repatriation flight for another 100 Kyrgyz citizens in Pakistan is being worked out by the Embassy on June 19, 2020 on the route Lahore-Bishkek.
