The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan E.Beishembiev participated in the conference «Role of Parliaments in cementing regional integration», organized by the National Assembly of Pakistan in Islamabad on 11 September 2019.

         The event was held with participation of the Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser, members of parliament, representatives of the ministries and agencies of Pakistan, ambassadors of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, experts, students and Mass Media.

Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser noted in his speech wide opportunities of the project China-Pakistan Economic Corridor for development not only for Pakistan, but also for the whole region, as well as of access through Kyrgyzstan’s territory to the markets of Central Asia.

The Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan E.Beishembiev informed in his speech the important role of Kyrgyzstan as a short automobile road from Pakistan through border points Irkeshtam and Torugart to Central Asia, participation of Kyrgyzstan in «Quadrilateral Traffic in Transit Agreement between Pakistan-China-Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan», suggested to open Pakistani enterprises in Kyrgyzstan with the aim of exporting goods to Central Asian, Eurasian Economic Union and European Union markets.
