On June 29, 2022, the solemn event dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was held in the city of Gujranwala of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This event was organized on the initiative of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan together with the “GIFT” university (Gujranwala, Islamic Republic of Pakistan).

During his speech to the guests of the above-mentioned event, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ulanbek Totuiaev, noting the importance of holding such events for the Kyrgyz-Pakistani bilateral relations, stressed that only the establishment of trusting contacts, well-coordinated joint work between all interested parties of the two states can enhance interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan to a new level. At the same time, he indicated that special emphasis should be placed on the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation as the most promising connecting element between friendly countries.

As part of the event, a thematic photo exhibition was organized showing the sights and pecuilarities of the culture of Kyrgyzstan. Together with that, the special presentations demonstrated materials about Kyrgyzstan and its tourism and economic opportunities. Among the students of the University “GIFT” a photo contest was held on the topic: “Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan. The similarity in details."
